DJane TRICK-C @ UNDERGROUND CLUB ANTHEMS 2012
 Da je Trick-C trenutno najuspešnejša slovenska producentka je prav gotovo dokaz tudi dejstvo, da se je njena skladba "Move It", ki je v izvirniku izšla pri Paul Hazendonkovi založbi Groove Worxx, podetiketi priznane nizozemske založbe Adult, pojavila tudi na kompilaciji "Underground Club Anthems 2012". Trick-C se je tako znašla v družbi ustvarjalcev kot so Cristian Varela, Joris Voorn, Tomy DeClerque in mnogih drugih. Kompilacija je izšla 23. januarja pri založbi Fever.

BLURRED MOTION RECORDS - FIRST HARDTECHNO LABEL IN ZAGREB (CRO)
 In October 2011 Zagreb, capital of Croatia got its first hard techno label. Blurred Motion Records is a new digital label focusing on hardtechno, schranz and industrial sounds. It is run by Blurix (Izidor R.), a long-year producer and DJ, and also a co-owner of Diggarama net-label and party organization.
There's not much "philosophy" about what will this label to and what to expect from it and on it. Hard techno, schranz, industrial and hardcore sounds have finaly found their "home" in Zagreb. These alternative directions of electronic music have a massive audience and support all around the globe and its popularity in Croatia is getting bigger by each day. The time has come when there's much more space for this scene's expanding in Croatia and globaly. Blurred Motion Records will provide the sounds people can hear on parties, directly from the "lab" itself to the audience.
Some very known producers will be presenting their new productions on this label and some newcomers will also get a chance to release some of their pumping hard beats. The label's focus is to find good quality sound productions and to "pack" it into a final - all ready to go quality "product". The first release (BLMR001) was released on 24th October and it's a work from the labal-manager him self - Blurix. It is a 4 track, hard techno EP meant to surprise the fast hardtechno fans. The name of the EP is "Medical Attention EP" and even though tracks from it are firstly DJ-friendly, EP is also made as a small "story" or should we call it a mini-album that can be played as a standalone (without mixing). You can listen to the previews of the 1st release on Somixx and Juno, and also on Soundcloud and Myspace profiles of the label. Don't be a stranger. DJ PATRICK ZIGON REACHES THE ALPHA STATE
 On October 4th, Producer and DJ Patrick Zigon will release his debut album "The Alpha State" on Danza Macabra Records.
Patrick Zigon’s The Alpha State is a hypnotic guide through his deep and colourful world of electronic music. More than one year of hard work, sleepless nights and extensive sound design result in a thrilling journey of overall 12 tracks, and in connection a newborn live-act on stage. Call it Patrick’s first intentional musical monument. Adding substantial character to the release are six musical collaborations from diverse non-electronic guest musicians invited to Patrick’s Traumraum studio to pair their talents with his infectious electronic grooves. The dope Ragga vibes of Caramelo Criminal, the captivating vocals of Cassis, the muted trumpet of Fugatocity, the tricky live drums of The DisDrumMachine, the German voice of Goldkehlchen and the dark vocals of Paulo Olarte paired with Patrick‘s production skills make this album the most artistic piece of music in his release-catalog so far. The Alpha State is lovingly handcrafted, soulful, hypnotic and timeless electronic club music. An album that will grow on you and leaves much to be discovered, even after many listening sessions. It’s made both for clubbers and home listeners to take them to another state - their Alpha State.

20 TISOČ MLADIH Z UMEKOM V TIVOLIJU PREGNALO DEŽ - 27.08. @ Ljubljana
 Že desetič zapored je nepregledna množica mladih združila zabavo z dobrodelnostjo. Tivoli je naš najboljši DJ Umek dobrih sedem ur stresal v ritmih elektronske glasbe, val pozitivne energije mladih obiskovalcev pa se je odločno zoperstavil močnemu nalivu, ki je na začetku osvežil ljubljanski park, kasneje pa so se izza oblakov spet pokazale zvezde.
Sobotni Žur z razlogom je gotovo bil eden najbolj obiskanih v zgodovini te tradicionalne dobrodelne prireditve, ki jo Si.mobil prireja že od decembra 2004. Natančen znesek donacij bo mobilni operater sporočil v drugi polovici septembra, je pa že sedaj jasno, da se bo skupna vsota do sedaj zbranih sredstev gibala okrog 200 tisoč evrov. Denar Si.mobil zadnja leta donira društvu Beli obroč, ki ga porabi za opremljanje prijaznih sob, namenjenim pogovorom z otroci, ki so žrtve kaznivih dejanj. Poslanstvo Žura z razlogom je torej višje in ne predstavlja samo zadnje zabave pred začetkom šolskega leta. Mlade uči o pomembnosti sočutja do ljudi v stiski in kapljice simboličnih donacij v višini enega evra ustvarijo morje, to pa obiskovalcem Žura z razlogom omogoči, da s skupnimi močmi dosegajo spremembe in pomagajo manj srečnim.
Da je mlade treba osveščati, se zaveda tudi Uroš Umek, ki nastop na Žuru z razlogom jemlje kot posebno čast in sporočilo dobrodelne zabave vedno poudarja v intervjujih za medije po svetu. Letos je naš najboljši DJ v Ljubljano priletel neposredno iz Ibize, kjer že drugo leto zapored kot rezidenčni DJ ob boku Carla Coxa zabava množice otoških žurerjev. Vse bolj prisoten postaja tudi v ZDA, kjer šele spoznavajo plesno-elektronsko glasbo in Umek uspešno skrbi za izvoz slovenskega zvoka tudi čez lužo. Uroš torej postaja vse bolj prepoznaven po vsem svetu. Lani so ga na najpomembnejšem glasovanju za najboljše svetovne DJ-je, ki poteka pri reviji DJ Mag (www.top100djs.net), uvrstili na 50. mesto, letos pa cilja višje in upa na podporo slovenskih oboževalcev. Tudi tokratna misija združevanja dobrodelnosti z zabavo je torej uspešno zaključena, zabave željna mladina pa že nestrpno pričakuje, kaj nam bo Umek pripravil drugo leto. www.umek.si

Techno giant's radio show - BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN with UMEK
 DJ and producer UMEK announced that his new weekly radio show, bringing you the best of what current techno scene has to offer, will launch this Friday (1st of July) on major radio stations across the world. The weekly series will give a chance to unknown and talented producers to showcase their work in the “Cloud Stand Out” part. In “Eastern Flavor” listeners will get to know what DJs from Eastern European studios have to offer, while in the “Look Back Track” Umek will take you back in time to present the tracks that inspired him and dance floors worldwide in the past. Focusing on what the future brings us, a two-time Beatport Artist of the year will make a “Prognosis”, featuring what he thinks will shake the clubs and festivals in the following weeks. Every week a new “Sixteenofiver” will be presented on air and have a chance to play their track to millions of listeners worldwide.
